Above are some of the ideas myself, Beth and Dan have come up with when we first listened to 'Oh me oh my'.
Having a boy band playing a live gig was the first thing we thought of. We definitely want to use this, as lip syncing is important and this would cover that, also it would look effective, with good acting, and drummers and guitarists. We want to make it as realistic as possible.
The famous locations idea I came up with was influenced by my favourite music video, rockstar by Nickleback. The whole video is different people lip syncing the song. Some of the shots are with famous landmarks in the background. For example, Big Ben.
Writing the lyrics on boards and then the performer pulling them up in time to the song is an idea we like. Obviously lip syncing is important, however we feel this is a little bit different and every now and now it may look good.
The paint fight we feel would be effective as we feel the colours from it would look very stylish. Also I had the idea of slow motion being used in this.
