Many Music Videos are controversial and some are even banned in certain countries due to the publics opinions. However this shouldn't be seen as a particularly bad because a lot of controversial videos are remembered. A good example of a controversial music video is 'Smack my Bitch up' by the Prodigy. This music video was released and there was an immediate up raw about it from the public. The 'National Organisation for Women' were a particular group who were not to pleased with the video. The video was banned in the UK, however after massive demands on MTV, it was allowed to be shown, but only after midnight. The video was named "most controversial" in MTV's history.
Although controversy in music videos can sometimes be a good thing for artists, I do not think it would be a good idea to make our music video controversial!
